Make sure battery has a full charge. Have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check fuel injector pulse. Because you lost battery voltage, it makes me wonder about vehicle security system? There is a 30 minute relearn procedure, I don't know if that will help? You turn the key on, the security lamp on the dash stays on about 10 minutes, then turns off, turn off key and remove. Do this procedure two more times. If your worried about running the battery down, use a battery charger on lo charge.

if your battery is bad you should go for a diehard battery not endorsing them but i have had one for about 12 years and i only put it on charge for 3 hours about 3 weeks ago and it fired up 2 days ago after sitting for about 2 years
