Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Dodge Durango w 170k miles. The
front end is starting to look like it's getting lower to
the ground. What could this be from? The tires are
brand new.

With a 170 K on the car I think its time you changed your struts...

As you can tell...I am not a car guy...I grew up riding the subway in NYC. Can shocks lead to the lowering as well?

My friend I grew up in NYC city as well 26 years and I bet the subway is still a hell hole, LOL. Oh yes you can loose the change in the shocks and the car will sag....Good Luck....

The spring on the struts may be worn. Shocks wont affect ride height. You can also adjust ride height from the torsion bars. Look up videos on "How To Adjust Front End Ride Height" for your make/model.
