I have a 2008 sxt and the horn has stopped working, I've had someone to check it, they said it is in the sterring column,is that true? If so how do I repair it without going to dealer?

First thing is to do the process of elimination. Always start with the minor things first. Try checking the fuse/relay. This particular component doesn't usually just stop working.

Horn relay is the first thing to check. Open the cover on the power distribution panel in the engine compartment and test the relay. If it's okay, the problem is more than likely the SCM (Steering Column Module) connector on the steering column. It's known to go bad. BTW, be careful when re-installing the engine bay power center cover. If water is allowed into the panel, you'll have all sort of odd electrical gremlins. Like, a horn not working all the time.

i have a 2005 magnum that the horn turn signals wipers and side mirrors quit working and i don't know what to do either

is there a fuse or a relay that operates all these functions in a 2005 dodge magnum ?
