I have an engine from a 1968 Ford GT500 (no other info). Is it a Shelby engine????

Look for the engine ID numbers and contact Ford. They can direct you to the history of that engine.

If it is a real '68 GT500's engine then it should be a 428 Cobra Jet, find the engine stamping numbers so you can find out if it really is a 428 CJ. This link will help: http://www.fordification.com/tech/engineIDtags.htm Let us know the results, its always cool to know someone found gold, lol.
