Just purchased a 1968 Mustang w/ VIN starting 8F02S: the 8 is for 1968, F is for Dearborn, the S is for the 390 engine, and the 02 should be the body style. What does 02 denote?

Hello rodal47-- I hope your car is a Fastback, because that is what 02 means. I thought I could answer that right off the top of my head, but I confess I had to look it up even though I really do know everything. I looked it up at-- http://www.ariakristen.com/mustang/info.htm. Have fun with your Mustang. I love mine. Good luck from Bovan.
