Question type: Car Customization

I just found a 1976 Ford F150 302 on craigslist cheap and want to pull my
inline 6 out of my 1967 Mustang and drop this in. I currently have a C4 trans.
Will the 302 work? I understand I will need to upgrade other items too. Just
want a V8 in the stang, but can't spend a crap load to do it. Thanks!

The C4 will work just fine behind a stock or mild 302. You will probably need to source a late windsor/ small block ford bell housing. These are cheap and bolt to the trans. So changing it is a snap.
