260 V8 is bored 0.40 over?

I'm repainting the motor in my 641/2. just took the heads off, and found out the pistons, are stamped 0.40!!!!I just found out my 260 V8 is bored 0.40 over. What would be the cubic inch now? and i just got my hands on a set of 1969 302 D00E heads. will then make the motor run better? thanks BOB T
