Mercury Mariner passenger door lock issue

Asked by jpriest Jan 06, 2014 at 02:10 PM about the 2007 Mercury Mariner Premier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The passenger side door latch does not reset itself after opening the door. I have to
manually push the latch up to close the door. Can I take the panel off the door and fix it
myself? Or do I need to replace the latch?
