Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can you put 245/75/R16 tires on a 2005 Mercury Mariner (235/70/R16 tires come stock)

I put 245/70/16 on my 2008 Merc Mariner alittle taller than the 235's, but not much. Biggest concern is if they clear the lower strut plate and don't rub the inner fender panel when turning lock to lock. 70 series tire is alittle shorter and wider where as a 75 is taller so measure closely.
