Radiator

Asked by Tiffany Sep 25, 2018 at 05:33 PM about the 2003 Land Rover Discovery SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Will the engine tap if coolant is low. Just had an oil change.
Ticking out of nowhere. Goes away after accelerating some
and comes back.

If the engine is overheating all sorts of bad things will happen. Check the oil level too.

Have someone that knows engines listen to it. Maybe the ticking is a lifter which is not necessarily a big problem. It may go away or stay the same. If it gets worse be sure and have a mechanic look at it.
