My jaguar X type is gone into limp mode

Hi I have a jaguar X type 03 2ltr v6 its gone
into limp mode. It goes into limp mode wen
it gets to temperature I was wondering Wat
would be the cause of this

Have you had other problems with this Jag? if not, you will- find a good mechanic and get it running and sell it- before the tranny goes out-
