What will be the damage, when I accidentally connect the positive terminal with the body

What will be the damage, when I accidentally
connect the positive terminal of the battery with
the body. Because after it happened i have no
lights,the car is completely dead

On most cars it can burn the diodes in the alternator. A quick electrical check by a shop should tell if the alternator is charging. Check the fuses to see if any are burned.
