Get my 92 Chevy Cheyenne run at 100 degrees temperature

I can't tell if my temperature gauge is broke or if my
truck really runs at 100 degrees is that possible it's
a 92 Chevy Cheyenne 6 cylinder 4.3 1500

If you have no thermostat it won't warm up much past that. Or your gauge is just broken
