Is this an aftermarket radio or factory? The radio should get a constant 12v and a "keyed/switched" power. Factory wiring is as follows. Constant 12v - Orange, Switched 12v - Yellow, Ground - Black. Hooking a constant 12v to the orange and yellow wires should power the radio on. Aftermarket would be Constant 12v - Yellow, Switched 12v - Red, Ground - Black. If the unit doesn't power on, the unit has failed and must be replaced. I hope this helps.
