Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok..  just bought this rig in september. Been great with the exception of a
few things. One being, my stop fuse as well as now my csty fuse keeps
blowing... I know my stop fuse is directly related to my brakelight switch
or at least the load thats on it. Csty fuse not a clue.  That one just recently
started. Aa for my stop fuse. I've tried alot of things so far. I've already
replaced brake light switch, replaced bulbs, as well as sockets. As soon
as I touch the brakes. Whether my whole back half of the lights are
plugged in from the wiring harness, back. If anybody can help or give
some sort of clue as how to get my brakelights to work again without
blowing the fuse. Would be awesome. I'll be working on it for the next few
hours. Could use all the help I could get....

Check to see if you have a trailer plug adapter, if so disconnect it and reconnect original harness (clean connections and use dielectric grease), those cause problems all of the time.

I did have one... but I took it out (since I don't have a trailer) when I very first started trying to diagnose this issue.. n actually, I have already picked up the biggest bottle of dielectric grease oreillys sales. And have started putting it on all harnesses just to be sure.. just getting off work N about to bust into it again... it's been quiet the lil hassle... didn't think it would be this stubborn of a problem..

Sounds like a short since you don't have any big electrical loads that could require a higher amp fuse like for a trailer in etc... I had similar problem turned out to be license plate light wire - wore down exposing just enough wire that grounded out on bumper. what a nightmare.
