I have a 1995 Chevy c1500 with a 305 motor that has cracked block and I was wanting to know if I could put a 1980 something 305 motor in it

Yes you can as long as you use your 1995 intake manifold and components. Just swap the top of the motors so all your plugins connect to were they go.
