Why won't my car doors open from the
outside to get in on my 99 Buick Park
Avenue ll

Mine does the same . Take the inside door pannel off and there is a rod to the right its a small diameter threaded rod . Towards the bottom is like a threaded eye bolt with nothing in it. Feel behind it and there is a L shaped rod and that L slides in the eye hole on the threaded rod .its hard to get to and you just about to have to do it with 1hand.once its in get some plastic ties .you have to put them together pull them till there is a small hole not completely slidr them over both pieces after their put toghther .. mine last a few months . The other option is a body shop and they charge by the hour.
