Your car probably has a 3800 V6 engine.........at the front of the engine are 3 coil packs. Under the coils there is a circuit board......is there green slime coming out under the coils? It is fairly common that the circuit board overheats and the coating will ozz out. Seeing the slime is just an indication of what is happening, change the circuit board ...which I think they call it an ignition module.
