I believe the '06 also had the Sentry Key system, this has been pretty standard on Chrysler products for the last 10 years or so.  Especially a vehicle like the SRT-8.  You can occasionally find standard keyed ignitions, like my low-optioned '07 Dodge Dakota, but it's rare.  The digital key is the norm now, for better or worse.
