2007 Volvo S40 T5 Engine turns but will not start.

Asked by msquires827 Jun 30, 2019 at 09:12 AM about the 2007 Volvo S40 T5

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While at a stoplight the radiator bleeder hose ruptured,
ironically at the same time the fuel pump stopped working.
Is there a relationship or is this purely coincidental?
Or, is there a switch in the engine that controls power to the
fuel pump that stopped working?

1 Answer

Thank you for the response. I do believe that is what happened, the question is how do I fix it. How do I re- enabled the fuel pump?
