Did you try both remotes? If not, try using another remote. If it doesn't happen with the other remote, take the faulty one apart and go over the contacts with a pencil eraser, then replace the battery. If that doesn't work, replace the remote entirely.

damn. Having this same problem. Was hoping someone had given an answer...it happens intermittently, so of course, it never acts up at the dealership.

There is a switch in the overhead console that toggles the button on or off. Back seat child safety feature.

Yes....the toggle switch is the far right button on the overhead console near where all the other buttons are located. Easy to switch back “on” so my side door closing buttons work. The key fob worked perfectly but the buttons on the door frame did not until I pressed that switch to “on”. Thank you! Saved me a repair trip!

YES! Thank you. The toggle switch was just what was wrong with my van! I took mine to the dealer today and they didn't know this.....they suggested child locks but then said no, it wasn't that. I do appreciate finding this!

Check the buttons above the windshield. There's one for each door and the lift gate, but then the last one to the right is a lock on/off button for all the doors' automatic features.........fob and buttons. It's like a child safety lock in that it blocks the functions.

Same problem w/ sliding doors working w/ fob but not the button on the door post. Yes! All it was the safety toggle switch on the overhead console was off. Click to on and everything works again. Thanks for the heads up.

I was freaking out over my doors not working. You guys helped me tremendously - it was that switch on the overhead console! Now if I could figure out how to turn on the rear windshield wipers!!!

When my left side sliding door stopped working with the fob and interior buttons I was able to open it by cranking back the lock (technically pushing it toward the rear of the vehicle) from the inside while pulling the handle from the outside. That worked for awhile, but then stopped. I just went outside after reading the comments here and tried pulling back the lock and using the key fob and it worked! Now it's working with the fob or interior button without having to manually press on the lock. The dealer said it was going to be an $1,100 repair!

There is a small slide above the large slide which opens the door which locks and unlocks the door ,these are on the door itself once I moved the small slide door unlocked and worked with all features.

Thanks so much, I don't know how the switch got turned off, but all the power doors work now!
