How do I release the fuel pump bucket from the tank on a 2000 S- Type

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have to replace a failed fuel pump on my 2000 S-Type V8. I have removed all
but the bucket at the bottom of the tank with the pump. I cannot seem to find
out how to release it. Can any one tell me we're the release is so I can get it out
to replace the pump.

the plastic retainer ring ??? unscrew...

has two clips on the side must use small screw driver

Has round ring do not use screw driver. Use piece of wood at angle against one of the ridge on ring light tap on wood with hammer to turn plastic ring. It unscrews
