Leaking coolant INSIDE car, passenger side

Asked by Andrell Sep 25, 2017 at 02:56 PM about the 2001 Buick Park Avenue FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am leaking coolant INSIDE of car. I changed
thermostat due to getting hot a few weeks ago.
Flushed radiator also. I checked radiator this
morning and found almost empty. Turn on and
refilled. Drove about 15 minutes and saw and
smelled vapors of antifreeze coming from vents.
Checked all hoses and heating core and found
nothing. Drove home and noticed floor soaked with
coolant. What is the cause of this and is it a mahor
fix??? Please help..... and Thanks.

Go on U toob for any videos on access to the heater core , that will be the biggest problem , there's no telling how much of the dash board will have to come out , just a few screws but lots of clips , snap on trim pieces , one big puzzle

First thing I would look at would be the heater core inside and the hoses that run to the heater core
