buick 2001 temperature guage

I just had my mechanic replace a coil, spark plugs, wiring and computer board  because my car wouldn't start. now the temperature guage is stuck at the bottom and won't move

Agree with LX30215. Could be as simple as the wire to the temperature sending unit is loose or disconnected.
