What kind of transmission fluid do I use ?

Asked by Donny Mar 10, 2007 at 11:59 AM about the 1993 Mazda MX-3 2 Dr GS Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just wanted to make sure that I was using the right fluid so I didn't burn the tranny up

According to the folks on the Mazda forums at http://www.msprotege.com , MT90 is the best choice for transmission fluid. There's a tutorial on changing the transmission fluid in an MX-5 Miata here which might be helpful: http://www.techguys.ca/howto/transmission_fluid.html
