how do i reset the clock on beetle cabriolet 1996

clock only on when stopped.  when moving shows kph.

I'm sure that info is in the owners manual, I don't have one handy.

The manual does not help me .only reads clock when car is moving registers Kpm when moving. Any suggestions?

clock only reads when car is stationary. when moving clock reads Kpm. Manual no help to me.
