I just got a new starter on my 1999, but now when I put my foot on the gas to accelerate it goes to about 30 miles an hour than loses power, thirty seconds later it gains power again and will go to 30

I would like to know what is making my car lose power when I have my foot on accelerator?

Who replaced the starter? make sur you did not pinch any wires or maybe knocked a vacume line off

Also, check your fuel pressure...a weak pump may be at fault. Any status lights on the dash?
