I have a 2005 Mercedes Benz CLK 320 with over 200,000 miles, how often do I change the oil

Asked by discomeouse Jul 05, 2018 at 10:00 PM about the 2005 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class CLK 320 Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just want to know how often do I get the oil changed in my car with this high mileage on it, I use high mileage oil

1 Answer

If it does not use oil I would change it every 5,000 miles or more often if you like. On the cars I have had with really high miles I found a very real benefit to changing oil every 2,500 to 3,000 miles as it kept oil consumption down.
