Dodge 2500 manual shift 6 speed. Shifting works fine but when going down the road it will loose power to the tranny and after depressing the clutch and reving the rpms it will get power again. It is not gear specific and seems to do it while coasting but never while accelerating. Would it be a sensor or electrical connection. It doesn't make a noise in the tranny when it does it.

What makes you think the transmission is the culprit? It sounds more like a fuel delivery problem.

The engine does not slow or cut out it just stops giving power to the drivetrain, like it goes into neutral.
