Try truck dies when I rev the engine any ideas why?

I recently changed the entire rotor and housing on my 96
ram and now I'm having trouble driving it I can turn it on
and hit the throttle but when i let off the gas the truck dies
I have a code p0123 throttle/pedal position sensor/ circuit
A high I checked everything and cant figure it out
