why are these trucks so over priced with high mileage and old age?

I have been searching: Chevy, Ford, Nissan, Toyota trucks from years of 2000 to 2005...Why are they so expensive?
Looking for a truck in good condition for $3000 to $4000 with no major repairs...
Trucks can last a very long time and everyone wants one or needs one for work which keeps prices up.
they are expensive because: 1. If from a dealer, they make a living ripping people off- 2. if from a private party, everyone thinks that what they have is made of gold-
Simply put... supply and demand
It’s because of supply demand everyone wants one and spending well over 50k is just ridiculous. Used tracks with over a 100k are in the 20’s as well again ridiculous as well but Bunsen will fix it as soon as gas gets back to the Obama Democratic days 4-6 a gallon prices will drop quick .
