Question type: Maintenance & Repair

95 f250 blows coolant out of the radiator cap when it gets hot  , new radiator
and cap , it has a overflow tank  but nothing is hooked to it ? the connection
that should go to that tank is hooked to a hose the goes over to a fitting on the
left side of the block

How long does it take to over heat ? Is the water pump circulating ? Is the thermostat opening up at the right temp. ? When you changed the radiator what did the coolant look like ? Do a compression test may be the head gasket is bad , the hose should be hooked to the over flow that's what it's there for .

Thank you , I had a friend that stopped by and he pointed out that those hose was in the wrong spot , problem solved
