I have a 1992 300E 4Matic. I am unable to open the driver's side door from outside of the car. I can, however, open the door when I pull the handle when I am inside the car.

I am unable to open the passenger side car door when I am outside of the car  
However, I am able to open the door when I am sitting inside my car.
