Need to remove back seat trunk access

2 Answers

Scenario a 2002 corolla le the trunk is locked and the trunk lock cylinder is in a horizontal position, or valet mode. This causes issue with the cars trunk release lever seizing. Trying to gain access into the trunk from the back are halted by the upper backseat. Inside the trunk are two pull release levers that allow the backseats to fold down. The 2002 corolla does not have other trunk options. 2003, 04, and newer models have other ways to to remove the upper back seat.
