Asked by Pontchartrain53 May 13, 2018 at 10:26 AM about the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Grand Prix  Pontiac. But the
heads went bad. But I also have 2004
Grand Prix Pontiac supercharger. The
transmission went out. So cand I put the
transmission out of the other car to put in
the super charge

The GTP uses the heavy duty version of that transmission. It may work if the electronics are the same but it will not hold up to the higher power of the supercharged engine if you drive it hard.
