where is my starter located on my 2005 pontiac GT coupe?

when I try to start my car, it clicks one time. I know its not my battery because the lights still come on

still might not have enough power to engage the starter, the click is the solenoid. dollars to doughnuts batt. is no good. also could be loose batt. terminal have the batt tested its free
