my 2003 grand am will not start but the lights inside and out work and all i hear is a click, we checked the battery and fuses

i shut off the car and 10 minutes later went to start it and just a click, the lights inside and the headlights work all i hear is a faint click, we also checked the battery and the fuses, where do we go next

leave your key in the ignition at the ACC position for 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes turn key to off remove key, reinsert key and try to start it. I have an 04 Pontiac grand am...does it from time to time.
