03 grand am blower motor works then stops

03 Pontiac grand am blower motor will shut
off on its own the if you turn fan knob to low
them back up it will run again for a while
then stop again.you can keep turning knob
and fan will keep starting back up but keep
quitting

Sounds like it is a problem with the fan switch itself or the wiring to it has a loose or corroded connection.
