Car won't start after repair is complete just
back fires do you know what would cause
that problem

Possible the timing marks are not lined up on the crankshaft gear and the camshaft gear. When you re-install the timing chain your suppose to rotate the engine by hand 2 revolutions to make sure the timing marks line back up.
