Where can the amp power wire go to get from the
battery into the car

To keep it protected from the elements, it will need to pass through the firewall. If it will not fit through an existing hole, you may have to drill one. In either case, insulate the wire from the hole edge to insure no short from vibration abrasion will happen down the road.
