Own 99 audi a8..dead battery..jump box is no help..key doesn't work for trunk..and cant find trunk release when looking through ski boot. Please Help

the regular trunk relase is the place you put the key in it is never locked unless the car is locked. use your key fob to unlock the car or even your door lock switch then go push in the key slot in the trunk.
