i have a 1996 gmc with a 454. i want to compleatly rebuild it from the block.

i dont care how expensive it is. what type of parts do i put in it . i want it to
make alot of power but nothing to break. i want new pistons, heads, injectors,
big loped cam, everything. i want it fast and durable. its going in a 96 gmc
k3500
what would you personally put in it, I have no problem with the money for it.

A quality rebuild is going to run 5 grand or more plus installation. Find a machine shop with a good reputation that knows Chevy big blocks. They will have recommendations that will be what you want.

A GM factory crate motor might be my choice if smog laws are not a factor in your state. A 502/502 would be sweet.
