Won't start has no codes

2003 PT Cruser won't start has spark has gas has air and won't start new gas
pump and filter it set for about three months but everything has been checked
and cleared. If you crank on it like you where trying to burn starter up it
sumtimes starts but if it dies or you turn it off it won't start back up for at least 24
hours if at all and it shows NO codes I use a top line snappon daig. machine

Plugged injectors, weak compression, ECM intermittent operation. What does the live data show when the key is on with engine off and than in crank mode?

Some vehicles need the proper fuel pressure , just having some won't do . It also sat for a while and the gas could be crap , Try adding an octane booster if you want or purge the bad gas out somehow

You need three things for an engine to run. Spark, fuel, and compression. Spray a little bit of starting fluid down the throttle body. It should run a few seconds on that. If it does, you have a fuel problem. If it doesn't you have an ignition (no spark or weak spark) problem or lack of compression. Check for spark first. If you have good spark run a compression test. If all cylinders test very low or zero the timing chain has jumped or the timing belt is broken, whichever you have. But since you say it will run for a few minutes I doubt it's a lack of compression. Hope that helps! Jim
