how do i open 04 ford expedition cargo door latch that is stuck?

how do i repair cargo door latch? the door latch cannot open the
door...how can i open it to do the needed repairs?

You will need to remove all of the trim from the inside of the rear tailgate. After the trim is off, you should be able to see the lift window mechanism and make the necessary repairs.
