Purge air out of the cooling system. Look it up on the web.
You have an air lock in your heater core, check the coolant level when the engine is dead cold. Remove the radiator cap (not the overflow tank) fill all the way to the top then take it for a drive, next time it's dead cold do the same thing until it stays filled. The heat should come back. If you had the radiator changed at a shop take it back and have them get the air out they have the equipment to do this faster.
