2013 Ford Escape SEL AC not blowing cold air after radiator replacement.

Asked by Katevm5 Jul 17, 2021 at 10:45 PM about the 2013 Ford Escape SEL AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2013 Ford Escape SEL 1.6 engine. I recently had to have the radiator
replaced. The day I picked it up after the repairs were done, my AC was no
longer blowing cold air. Could there be a connection to this and the
replacement of the radiator? Or is it just a fluke that there is a new issue? Is
there any thing I can do myself to fix it before I take it to my mechanic?

Take it to another shop to see if the first guys put a hole in your AC " radiator " . It could be pure coincidence

To remove the radiator on that car they have to drain the AC and disconnect the ac lines... so yes I would take it back and have them recharge the AC
