Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, I just recently got a 2006 v6 convertible
mustang and in the first week I drove it, the battery
died. So I replaced the battery and got home. The
next morning on my way to work, the lights inside
start to go off, then the dash, then the whole car
dies. I repleaced the alternator that day. Ran fine for
a month and now Im having the same issue. I have
an aftermarket headunit in it and OG shaker 500
amp. I know this is issue is common in the 2005-11
mustangs. Any insit to help me find this problem

you need to run a bigger alternator this a common problem he one you had on the car and your new one can't handle the power being drawn by the amp and head unit when you go to buy a new one make sure you tell them at the auto parts store you need a bigger one that will handle more power being taken by the amp

How big of an amperage will I need? I also did a Parasitic test(Jumped to 10-11amps) with the exterior fuse box and when I pulled fuse #46, the amps went down to 0.
