Gauges not activating when turning the key?

Asked by mtdreamweaver Jun 24, 2022 at 01:29 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 4 Dr LT 4WD Extended Cab LB HD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Gauges activate one minute after truck starts.
Have charged both batteries and had load tested
at O'Reilly's. Came out good. Checked all electrical
connections, solid.
Where to next??

The BCM controls the gauges so make sure the BCM grounds are good. Some of the early 2000’s had issues with the harness under the passenger seat.
