2002 chevy 1500HD 6.0 sputtering while accelerating

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So i have been dealing with this issue for about a month now. I have
replaced plugs and wires, TPS, cleaned my throttle body, new fuel filter, new
air intake filter, cleaned the MAF, and just recently ran intake valve cleaner
through. My issue is when I want to accelerate and put the pedal 3/4 of the
way to the floor. It will downshift and RPMs go up but will sputter and no
acceleration, and sometimes jolts back into next gear.

Have you used a new gas station or used cheap gas. My dodge dakota does bad sputtering if I use cheap gas from certain had stations

Notintheknow gas is not something that is made "cheap" like generic cola. Idk what in heck uve learned but thats completely false. The epa wouldnt allow it. You can gave the wrong octane gas in a vehicle while can you alot of pinging and engine noise but if certainly will not cause issues at heavy throttle. What i would suggest is puttin a fuel gauge on it and go test drive. Make sure your not dropping out pressure under acceleration

Guru99GKVY how will i be able to tell if pressure is dropping on the guage when im driving?

Guru99GKVY, nobody told me anything. I see it for myself. I don't know if you genuinely know factually of what you speek but I am telling you this. If I put CHEAP gas in my Dodge Dakota it sputters and wants to die while moving, even at interstate speeds and especially going up hill. When I put a booster in it it will eventually level out but it takes a while. I have to let the tank run as completely out as possible, put in Good gas and I have no more problems. So I know what I speek of concerning my own vehicle and this has happened several times while traveling and having to put what gas is available at the time, and of course after learning what it does I put a booster/cleaner in it, if one is available. I Do thank you for your input on my comment but on this particular one you are mistaken. Please tell me if you can, where your information comes from and that there is not gas that has been watered down or whatever they do to it to make my pickup run so badly.

thanks for the feedback. Turned out to be bad o2 sensors throwing off my fuel banks
