I have a 2002 Monte Carlo and my car sputters at 4000 RPM when trying to pass someone but no problem if it is in park and I rev the engine. What could that be

    all hoses are good. after it warms up it idols perfect. Changed throttle control switch already. When you unplug switch it runs fine but transmission wont go from low to high.
